Difference between cotton bag and canvas bag
Today's environmental protection packaging bags are generally divided into cotton bags and canvas bags. What is the difference between these two materials? First of all, whether customized canvas bags or customized cotton bags, we can call them canvas bags. Their raw materials are woven from pure natural cotton, with long service life, easy to fall in the natural environment and will not pollute the environment. However, they are also different, that is, the thickness of canvas bags is generally greater than that of cotton bags. Next, Suzhou Apex packaging will introduce the characteristics of these two kinds of cloth bag raw materials:

Cotton bag: the material is cotton. Cotton is a kind of woven fabric with cotton yarn as raw material. Different varieties are derived due to different tissue specifications and different post-processing methods. The concept of cotton is very broad. It can be said that all fabrics made of raw materials made of cotton yarn can be called cotton. However, in terms of daily life, it is generally believed that cotton is woven from single strand and relatively fine cotton yarn, which has the characteristics of softness, moisture absorption, air permeability and warmth preservation. Its disadvantage is that it is easy to shrink and wrinkle. There are a wide range of cotton fabrics, including plain cloth, poplin, hemp yarn, twill, tweed, velour, corduroy, etc. Cotton cloth is a necessity of people's daily life. It is widely used in clothing, bedding, indoor supplies, indoor decoration, packaging, industry, medical treatment, military and so on.

Canvas bag: canvas is a kind of thick cotton fabric or linen fabric. The yarn of most specifications of canvas is thicker than that of ordinary cotton. At present, in China, there are few hemp raw materials, so we generally think that cotton is the raw material. Therefore, it can be said that canvas is also a kind of cotton under the broad category of cotton. The biggest difference between canvas and cotton is that the warp and weft yarns of canvas are composed of 2 or more strands, while cotton is mostly single strand. This leads to the rough appearance of canvas and the fine cotton cloth. In addition, canvas is usually woven with plain weave, and twill weaving is rarely used, which also brings convenience to distinguish canvas from cotton. Because canvas is woven by multi strand thread, it has firm texture, wear resistance, compact and thick, and canvas has strong and good waterproof characteristics. Therefore, canvas is widely used in cloth bags, clothing, footwear, automobile transportation, luggage and other industries.
